We are an essential service and at Red we will remain open and available for pharmacy services. The important word in that last sentence is ESSENTIAL; we must stay open. So, we will be doing a couple of things differently to ensure the safety of our staff and vulnerable customers. Special Covid-19 Vaccination Service this weekend!!!

Awesome news!  We will be running a ✨special✨ walk-in Covid-19 vaccination service this Saturday (13th of November) and Sunday (14th of November) between the hours of 10am and 2pm. A farewell to our lovely pharmacist, Polly.

It's with much sadness that we say goodbye to our wonderful pharmacist, Polly. If you've been a part of the Balmoral family for quite some time, you would've had the privilege of being looked after by Polly never failing to present herself with a big smile and a bubbly personality. She is an extremely hard worker and is always happy to help in any way that she can. It is safe to say that our team will miss Polly dearly, but we wish her the best on her next adventure. ...

We're doing COVID vaccines!

Happy Wednesday everybody!! Just a gentle reminder that we are administering COVID vaccines every Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's. OUR TEAM IS 100% VACCINATED...including our axillary and admin staff! We have 4 vaccinators on site and encourage anybody that is eligible to come on in and get their vaccine. Don't let the flu get you!

You can now get the flu vaccination from us here at Balmoral Pharmacy. It is currently FREE for:over 65 years oldpeople with chronic illnesses andpregnant women  For everyone else there is a fee to pay and it is available from the 17th of May. Available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.9am-11.30am and 2pm-4.30pm.No appointment necessary....

Codeine is now prescription-only

You now need a prescription from your doctor for pain relief tablets containing the ingredient Codeine.These commonly used Over The Counter medicines are no longer allowed to be sold by pharmacies in NZ.From 5th November all codeine-containing medicines have become prescription-only.
